I and my wife, Jane, have been performing members of Das Steirkraft Duo and play Bavarian and Austrian Volksmusik. When six months ago our five year-old daughter, Gretchen, decided she was going to become a part of the act, we happily accepted her and Das Steirkraft Duo became Steirkraft. Gretchen plays the guitar but wanted to play a Steirische Harmonika like her father (which is a Austrian/German style button box accordion). The instrument, although inexpensively priced and obviously an entry level one, surprised me by it's sound and construction: it has nicely tuned reeds and is just a little wet and the bass reeds are really something else for an instrument in this price range... it is also a durable little beast! I have enjoyed dealing with Music For All and it was a refreshing pleasure to be able to speak with you on the phone at any time when I had questions or needed assistance and your prompt and friendly emails...even written with a little bit of German language... made me feel that I was dealing with a confident and honest business person. The straps you included free of charge were of high quality and we really appreciated the free Learning to Play book that is just my daughter's speed. Oh, and when you say that you ship instruments fast (and free shipping to boot) ...you mean it!! I purchased a Hohner El Rey De Vallenato Accordion - (Cinco Letras) from Music For All and could not have been happier! I just wanted to let you know that UPS delivered my new Pearl Reference Purple Craze Drums today. I looked the boxes over quick before he left, to make sure they weren't destroyed. In good shape. I got the boxes inside and I started to open them, first the 10x8 rack tom. Beautiful. Then the (I think it was) the 16x13 hanging floor tom. Beautiful. And so on and so on. Beautiful. The bass drum I did not remove from the box yet but the box is in good shape, the packing material inside is intact and I lifted the bass up a little and looked around it, under the bubble wrap and paper and it looks a-ok. Let me tell you, the most beautiful drums I've ever laid my eyes on. A sight to behold, these Pearl Reference series drums are. Stunning. I cannot wait to get this set up and get to hear what these actually sound like. If they sound half as good as they look, well you know. Absolutely beautiful drum set. Now, what about a Pearl Reference snare drum, in purple craze?

By the way Matt, thanks for the quick turn-around on this. I ordered from you, on Monday afternoon, the most beautiful drum set I've ever laid my eyes on and it's here on Friday afternoon.

I've played piano for 44 years and know the value and enjoyment of a quality instrument. And being just a little leary of digital pianos, I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with my purchase. My son (age 15) has been learing drum kit for about 5 years. He had been
using a Pearl Export kit which was fine for a beginner and as he
developed his skills. At the beginning of the year I told my son that I
would look for a top shelf kit as he had worked very hard to improve and
was passionate about drumming. We live in New Zealand and the local
retail market for drum kits is quite limited and those good quality kits
that are available are very expensive.

One night in January 2008 during a web search for drum kits I got really
lucky - I found the site for Music For All. I had been thinking that the
Pearl Reference kits were ideal for my son to move up to. All the
reviews I had read were positive and the arguments were compelling that
this was the best option, given the wide range of add on drums available
and the Pearl accessories. Music For All is a dedicated Pearl stockist
and had an amazing deal on a 5 piece kit - 22x18 bass, 10x8, 12x9, 
14x14 and 16x16 toms.  Essentially the price  was around the price that
other dealers were selling a 4 piece kit for. Also the company is
located south of Los Angeles which was attractive as we planned to order
a drum kit and go to Los Angeles and pick it up.

My initial email query was answered immediately by Matt Kerwin and I
dealt with Matt throughout. Matt's service was impeccable - he always
answered my queries in a timely manner, his information and advice was
straight up factual and extremely helpful. Very early on I knew that
Matt was someone I could trust and do business with.

Now for the drums. We made a trip to Los Angeles, met up with Matt and
took possession of this truly superb drum kit and brought them back with
us. We opted for the Granite Sparkle and it is a superb looker. As for
the quality of the drums, well the Pearl Export kit was OK, but these
drums are vastly superior. Overall they are a top product with a
magnificent sound - everything written on the Pearl site and elsewhere
about these drums is true.

As for Music For All, and particularly Matt, on the basis of my dealings
with this purchase I rate them very highly and their customer service
well exceeded my expectations. I understand that they will ship their
products internationally so that is likely to work out as an attractive
option for those who don't live in the U.S. and who want access to
products that may not be available in their countries, and at very decent
prices with the US currency exchange rate at the moment.
