Our business philosophy is to offer simply the best quality products on the market.  We will only process your sale when your item(s) are confirmed to be in stock with the exception of Special Order items. Any Special Order must be paid in full at the time the order is placed and is non-refundable. These steps take extra time and effort for us, however it ensures your order is right the first time.  You are referred to as the "customer" or "purchaser".


Refund Processing:

If Paypal was used for your purchase and the refund is issued within 30 days, you will receive a Full Refund.  Any Paypal refund after 30 days will result in the 3% deduction from the total.  If using Paypal, we will process your refund within 48 hours after returned items clear. If a Credit Card is used, we will process your refund within 3 business days after returned items clear. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser only.

If for any reason you contact us to cancel your order before the item(s) ship, we reserve the right to deduct the Merchant Fees (3% of the total) which is the amount we incur to process your payment from the refund. 

All forms of payment (other than Paypal) are subject to a deduction of 3% from the total on returns.  There is no specific time limit on canceled orders via credit card, as we incur the 3% charge from our merchant service as soon as your card is processed.

All ship costs are the responsibility of the purchaser in the event of a return.  Any items marked "Free Shipping" still have a ship cost that we incur - actual ship cost will be communicated to the customer upon a return.  You can also easily verify published ship rates at UPS, FedEx and USPS websites by entering weight and box dimensions of your item(s).

Are there any exceptions to your Return Policy?

Yes there are.

Any instrument or device that has touched the lips or ears of an owner cannot be returned due to health regulations. This includes but is not limited to: Headsets, Harmonicas, Microphones, Mouthpieces, Ear Plugs, etc.

Any Cymbal or similar instrument cannot be returned because wear is easily evident.
Printed music such as books and sheet music, videotapes, DVD's, Sample Libraries, Style Disks, Sound Expansion Boards, Sound Cards, and Software or Recording Media of any kind (which may also include hardware bundled with software) cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law.
Disposable items such as Drum heads, Drumsticks, Instrument care Products, Cleaning supplies Tubes, Strings, Rosin, etc. because they are disposable items.

Special Orders:

All Special Orders are a special arrangement between Music For All and the Manufacturer for our customers.  These orders take an extra amount of time on behalf of all parties involved and therefore are not refundable once we have collected payment from customer and sent the order to the Manufacturer.

There are 3 different types of returns:

1). If you choose to return a product for any reason in exchange for a different product sold by Music For All, we pay the shipping charges on the product we ship to you in exchange for the product you return, but you are responsible for the return shipping on the product you send back, and we do not credit any original shipping charges toward the exchange.

2). In the case of an outright return for refund, we refund the full purchase price of the product minus 3% merchant fees to process your credit card. If we offer Free Shipping on a product, the actual ship cost will be deducted from your return. You are responsible for return shipping on the product you are returning to us and we do not credit the original shipping charges toward the refund. We process all returns that are refused (also known as buyers remorse) by the customer this exact method as well.

3) If the return is needed as a result of damage, defect, or our mistake, we pay the shipping charges - both to have your item sent back to us, and to send you a replacement item. After all, we know that's why you shop with Music for All. These exceptions are at the sole discretion of Music for All and its returns department.

Due to the time and effort to process, it is the policy for Music for All to charge a restocking fee for any item that cannot be sold as new.

We can only accept items that are returned without signs of wear and tear (factory sealed when applicable) and with all of the original contents and packaging. Contents consist of any included parts and accessories, as well as the warranty card and manual without user's notes or markings. Packaging includes all inner and outer packaging, complete with the original bar code affixed.

Items not returned in the condition described here may be subject to restocking fees (10-30% of the purchase price, as determined by our cost of replacing the missing items including a processing fee for this labor-intensive process) or refusal of the return. Larger items and items that we ship directly from our vendors can be subject to a 30% restocking fee. This fee may apply if you refuse delivery or as a result of delivery exceptions, as well as from a typical return.
